Multisectoral Economic Mission to Kuwait and Bahrain

The ABLCC (Arab-Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce), in close cooperation with AWEX (Wallonia Export and Investment Agency), are pleased to announce their upcoming Multisectoral Economic Mission to the State of Kuwait and to Kingdom of Bahrain from 01 to 05 November 2015.

Key sectors:

• ENERGY: Oil & gas, petrochemical, electricity, water, renewable energies
• CONSTRUCTION: public works, buildings, interior design, materials, techniques, services
• AGRI-FOOD: chocolate, frozen food, meat, poultry and derivatives, juices, Additives
• ENVIRONMENT: waste management, protection, air-ground-water (technology & services)
• ICT: special applications, i.e banking, medical, optimization, management

The mission is of course open to companies operating in other sectors of activity.

Young Professionals Networking Night

The Arab-Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce invites you to link up with other young professionals from no less than eleven international and local Chambers of Commerce from across Belgium at the third edition of its famous cross-chamber speed-networking event.

The evening will feature a speed networking session as well as guest speakers Bernie Caessens, Managing Partner at RESOLVED, and Suyin Aerts, Administrator at X-Treme Creations, who will touch upon their networking experience and how it has helped them during their careers.

Come and expand your network with young professionals from a variety of different nationalities, careers and industries and gain insight into new ways to give your career that extra boost.

UAE: Roundtable meeting with the Minister of National Economy, H.E.M. Sultan Bin Said Al-Mansouri

On the occasion of the visit of H.E.M. Sultan Bin Said Al-Mansouri, Minister of National Economy of the UAE, the ABLCC, in collaboration with the Embassy of UAE, has the pleasure to invite you to a roundtable meeting on Thursday, 12 November, 2015, at 10.30 a.m. in the premises of Besix – avenue des communautés 100, 1200 Brussels.

The visit of the Minister of National Economy of the UAE is planned as a follow-up meeting to the Princely Economic Mission that visited the UAE in March 2015.

A presentation entitled “Belgium-UAE: Strategic Economic Partners” will be given by H.E.M. Sultan Bin Said Al-Mansouri, and will be followed by a networking reception at 11.30 am.

10th Arab-Belgian-Luxembourg Economic Forum

Over the years, the Arab-Belgian-Luxembourg Economic Forum has become a not-to-miss event on the calendar of the ABLCC. The Arab-Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the General Union of Arab Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture for Arab Countries, is thus pleased to invite you to the 10th edition of its Economic Forum on 30 November 2015.

The Forum, which brings together decision makers, government officials, diplomats, business executives, investors, and professional organizations from Belgium, Luxembourg, the EU, and Arab countries, seeks to strengthen commercial relations as well as to promote investment projects and partnerships in various key economic sectors.

This year, we will have the pleasure to welcome H.E.M. Peter De Crem, Belgian Secretary of State for Foreign Trade, as a guest of honour.
