Ghent-Terneuzen canal: no tides, 18 nautical miles long, accessible to Panamax vessels up to 92,000 DWT having a maximum length of 265 metres, a beam of 37 metres and a draught of 12.5 metres.
5 docks: Grootdok, Sifferdok, Mercatordok, Rodenhuizedok and the recent Kluizendok (660 hectares of industrial sites).
