The Wallonia Foreign Trade and Investment Agency (AWEX) is a public agency, in charge of foreign trade promotion as well as foreign investment attraction, for the Wallonia Region of Belgium.

AWEX offers services of its worldwide network of more than one hundred Economic and Trade Attachés. In line with its mission, encouraging companies to develop their international activity, AWEX has sponsored the creation of a “ Halal Club” of companies interested in Halal markets.

Members share experiences, information and actions in their approach of countries where Halal certification is likely to be a competitive advantage.
