The Arab-Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce was proud to take part to the Conference with His Excellency Mr. Adel AL-JUBEIR, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, organized by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in collaboration with Egmont Institute on Tuesday, 19 July 2016.

The event, focused on the challenges and perspectives faced by Saudi Arabia and the wider region.

In his speech, H.E.M. Adel AL-JUBEIR highlighted the kingdom’s commitment to diversify away from oil and welcomed foreign investment. He underlined the fact that, besides its strategic location, Saudi Arabia is an innovative, dynamic, efficient, and productive society, with 70% of the Kingdom's population being under the age of 30 years old.

The Vision 2030 aspires at diversifying and restructuring the kingdom's economy. The aim over the long term is to create a vibrant and more competitive economy by exploring sectors that have been so far under utilized as well as to make the country less dependent on its oil reserves.
